Obama's "Christianity"...

If you support Obama politically, that's fine---that's a choice which is certainly yours to make. But before you agree with him that he's a Christian, listen to the clips below at HIS OWN WORDS defining Christianity. (He sounds like George W. who has said essentially that he is a 'universalist', meaning he has bought that falsehood that says "all roads lead to Heaven" or "there's more than one way to get to the same God"). That type of understanding of the Christian faith DIRECTLY contradicts what Jesus said about being THE ONLY WAY to the Father. It also certainly does not agree with what Jesus said about being on the NARROW ROAD to eternal life......it's more like that BROAD road that many "christians" are on. They have deluded themselves and others into thinking that they are what they are not----genuinely converted.

During a campaign stop yesterday in Greensboro, North Carolina, Senator Obama told the audience that he believes he "can have everlasting life" because Jesus Christ died for his sins. But he then told a questioner that he believes Jews and Muslims who live moral lives are just as much "children of God" as he is. listen to audio here Obama then goes on to say basically that "good works" assures one a place in Heaven. Sorry to break it ya folks, but uh, that's not what Jesus said. WHY is it so difficult for people to understand that all the "good works" in the world and "Niceness" in the world will not be enough to secure eternal life?? If that were the case, the there was no need for Jesus to die for the sins of the world. All sinful men would have to do would be to "do a lot of good works" and "be kind" and "live a moral life". NO!!!!! The Bible says that our own "righteousness" is as 'filthy rags" when held up to the light of GOD'S HOLINESS and perfection! I'm not saying we should NOT doing kind things and good works on this earth---but those works do NOT automatically give us a "pass" into Heaven. Otherwise, there would have been no need for Jesus to sacrifice His life. Jesus came to "bridge the gap" between sinful mankind and a perfect, Holy God---something only HE could do, since HE was perfect, and since HE IS GOD. And contrary to what Obama, George W, (and many many others) think, the only way to be "assured a place in Heaven" is to repent of your sins and trust the finished work of Jesus ALONE. Somebody PLEASE tell Obama that. eric Obama sure his unbelieving mom is in Heaven
