Wrestling apart the scriptures.....

Brothers and Sisters,

The day is surely at hand (and has been for some time) that the Lord forewarns us about---when "harlot religion" would come together to form a one-world religion. I've often wondered how this will transpire given the exclusive claims to truth found within our Lord's words. WELL, no need to wonder any further because it seems that so-called "men and women of the cloth" from various religions have taken it upon themselves to 're-interpret' or  wrestle with the 'harder texts' within their various scriptures. It is indeed SAD to see when so-called CHRISTIANS take willing part in compromising what the Bible clearly states. Let me break it down for you----JESUS IS STILL THE ONLY WAY TO THE FATHER, NO MAN COMES TO THE FATHER (GOD) EXCEPT THROUGH HIM. I know in our post-modern world and way of thinking that comes across as opinionated and elitist. However, what many fail to realize is that Jesus (a supreme example of LOVE to the fullest) EXTENDS THIS OFFER TO WHOSOEVER WILL, with the only caveat being that we must come to Him on HIS terms---not our feelings, not our opinions, or what we think SHOULD be the case.

Let me pose this simple question----if there were so many  different "valid and equal paths to God" (based on everybody's own opinions or FEELINGS or whatever the case) WHY OH WHY would Jesus have to come and sacrifice his life on the cross to reconcile man to God? (when sinful human beings could have simply followed "another path" of their own choosing and STILL ended up in the same place----Heaven)???  In that scenario, God would have then asked his Son to SUFFER and DIE basically for NO REASON, given that any other path would have still secured humans a place in Heaven. (I'll save the HISTORICAL data for the life ,death, and resurrection of Jesus for a later post)

The answer is simple, Jesus (being God in the flesh, and the only perfect being to ever walk this planet) HAD to come and die in order to secure what fallible men and women could not---restoration to God. JESUS is the ONE mediator between humans and God. And it was motivated by God's love for mankind, yet at the same time satisfying His own requirement for PERFECT HOLINESS (which only JESUS could fulfill).

But now, as shown by the linked article below, "ministers" are attempting to "re-interpret" what Scripture (Christian and their own scriptures) say. That is how wishy-washy truth has become in our day and time. Rather than allow Jesus' claims to stand and fall on their own merit, we are now in a time when people want to KNOWINGLY misinterpret what he CLEARLY said---and thereby deceive many. ALL IN THE NAME OF a FALSE sense of "ecumenical" unity.

Could this be the time we are warned of in Scripture when men would "no longer heed sound doctrine but turn away to fables" and "heap up for themselves teachers after their own itching ears" ??? In other words, telling people what they WANT to hear rather than the objective TRUTH of the matter? Sadly, it is clear to me that that day has indeed arrived and i truly grieve for those that are not aware or familiar enough with Scripture to recognize this age of deception and this subtle trick. How many will be led astray under such false notions? (While the church-folk run, jump, and shout Sunday after Sunday over their "season" or "breakthrough" or "next dimension" etc etc etc ad nauseum, yet walk out of the church doors with a theological conviction that is less than AN INCH THICK!)

I guess this is what the Lord meant when He said the time would come where deception would be so strong that even the very ELECT (or chosen) would be deceived if that were possible. WAIT UNTIL THE FALSE SIGNS AND WONDERS are added into the mix of scriptural compromise! Is it any wonder that after the rapture, many will fall for the delusion "and believe the lie who have not loved the truth". It's happening even now, friends. Guard your hearts and mind. And as the Apostle Paul said, Guard your doctrine closely! It could mean your very eternity.
